DOPE Cards & Range Session Logs — Print-Ready Data Cards for the Field

Generate printable DOPE cards and range session log templates formatted for field use. Enter your own ballistic data, pick a card format, and download a clean PDF. No ballistic calculation — this is a formatting tool for data you already have.

DOPE Card Generator

Create DOPE (Data On Previous Engagements) cards with your elevation and wind holds formatted for two standard sizes: Wrist Coach (3x5 inches, fits standard arm boards used in PRS/NRL competition) and Scope Card (3.5x2 inches, fits business card sleeves, Sidewinder holders, and Cole-Tac Cheat Sheet setups). Cards print multiple per page with crop marks for clean cutting.

Enter your card label, select MOA or MIL, choose Dial or Hold values, set your zero distance, and populate your distance/elevation/wind data manually or via quick-fill. Up to 3 wind columns with custom headers. Cards auto-split across multiple pages when data exceeds format capacity.

Range Session Log

A single-page printable range session template with header fields (date, location, rifle, optic, ammo, lot, conditions, zero confirmation, training emphasis), a 25-row shot log grid with distance/elevation/wind/result/notes columns, and a footer block for round count, barrel total, and session takeaways. Pre-fill the rifle name or leave everything blank to fill in at the range.

Design Principles

Black text on white background for maximum field legibility. Minimum 7pt font on all formats — many competitive shooters are 40+ and read these cards in bright sunlight or low light. Bold grid lines that don't bleed when wet. 3mm+ padding inside crop marks for lamination pouches. These cards are designed to survive rain, dirty hands, and scratched lamination.

Why use this instead of a generic spreadsheet template

A spreadsheet template formats data on a screen; a notebook page is whatever the shooter draws. This generator outputs print-ready PDFs at two standard physical sizes — Wrist Coach (3x5 inches, fits standard arm boards used in PRS and NRL) and Scope Card (3.5x2 inches, fits business card sleeves, Sidewinder holders, and Cole-Tac Cheat Sheet setups) — with crop marks for clean cutting, MOA or MIL selection, dial-or-hold mode, optional wind columns with custom headers, and auto-split across pages when the data exceeds capacity. The card has to be legible in bright sunlight, low light, and through a scratched lamination pouch — the generator pins typography, grid weight, and padding to field-tested values so the printed card stays readable when conditions are not. It does not run a ballistic solver and does not invent numbers; bring the data from whichever solver or chronograph workflow you already trust and the tool puts it on paper.
