These terms govern your use of the Shooting Skills Diagnostic Inventory (SSDI), including the website at shotdiagnostic.com and any associated companion apps. By accessing or using any part of the site or app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or app.
The SSDI is a self-report diagnostic tool for competitive and recreational shooters. It generates AI-interpreted coaching profiles based on your assessment responses. The target generator produces downloadable PDF targets based on user-selected parameters.
The SSDI is designed to support self-directed skill development. It is not professional coaching or instruction. AI-generated coaching profiles are produced by a third-party AI service (Claude by Anthropic) and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Treat your results as a starting point for reflection, not a definitive evaluation of your abilities.
The SSDI is intended for use by adults.
You may use the SSDI and target generator for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may print and use generated target PDFs at approved shooting ranges. You may share your results link with others at your discretion.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell the assessment content, scoring methodology, or generated target designs. You may not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the site. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer the assessment instrument, scoring logic, or AI prompt architecture.
All assessment content, item text, scoring methodology, target designs, algorithms, branding, and site content are the property of the SSDI and are protected under applicable copyright law. Generated target PDFs are licensed to you for personal use. The branded URL and design elements on each target may not be removed or altered.
Coaching profiles and reflections are generated by a third-party AI service. The SSDI provides the prompts, constraints, and scoring data; the AI service generates the text. AI-generated content is provided as-is. The SSDI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any purpose.
The target generator produces printable paper targets. You are solely responsible for how you use any printed target. Targets are intended for use at approved shooting ranges, in compliance with all applicable laws, range rules, and safe firearms handling practices. The SSDI assumes no liability for injury, property damage, or any other loss arising from the use of printed targets.
You use the SSDI, including the assessment, coaching profiles, target generator, and companion app, entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on information provided by the SSDI.
The SSDI is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the SSDI disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and completeness. The SSDI does not warrant that the site, app, or any content will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the SSDI and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the site, app, assessment results, coaching profiles, AI-generated content, or target generator, regardless of the cause of action and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the SSDI and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site or app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
Your use of the SSDI is also governed by the Privacy Policy, available at shotdiagnostic.com/privacy. By using the site or app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
The SSDI relies on third-party services for hosting (Replit) and AI processing (Anthropic). These services operate under their own terms and policies. The SSDI is not responsible for the availability, performance, or data practices of third-party services beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms may be updated at any time. Changes take effect when posted. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the SSDI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
